Safe Haven Egypt can certainly use donations. It is only thanks to the donations that it is possible to save, provide medical care and feed for +/- 300 cats.
And to pay the staff who cares for the cats. The adoption contribution that an adopter pays is therefore indeed a contribution . The financial investment made in a SHE cat is considerably higher than that contribution.
You can support Safe Haven Egypt via Paypal or bank transfer to a British Pound bank account. These payment channels are also used for the adoption fee or the FIV/FeLV test.
The Paypal address is; safehavenegypt@yahoo.com (Name associated with the account is Michelle Hawkins)
The bank account number is;
IBAN GB41LOYD30908942796868 BIC LOYDGB2LXXX (Name associated with the account is Safe Haven Egypt (SHE) UK )
This payment information is also available here on the (private) Facebook page of Safe Haven Egypt.
Note that to get the correct amount in British pounds you will have to pay a little more to reimburse the various transaction and exchange costs associated with that payment order.
What the current exchange rate is you can easily google it.
Those who would like to make it a bit more personal; go to the private Safe Haven Egypt Facebook page and apply for membership of that group. There are very regular calls to sponsor a cat. Certainly towards the end of the month.
The reference amount to sponsor an adult cat for one month is £35 (€41, $44) for an adult cat and £25 (€29, $31.50) for a kitten.
But of course any amount is very welcome.
Unfortunately, there is no payment option available in euro. This means that with a typical international bank transfer and certainly via PayPal, a piece is lost due to various costs. Especially with (very) small amounts.
That is why it is also possible to make a donation through me – Walter Vermeir. I will then act as a proxy to SHE. – I manage this promotional project 'Friends of Safe Haven Egypt'.
You can use this specific euro bank account;
IBAN: BE35 6717 2418 8937 BIC: EURBBE99XXX
This is formally a personal donation to myself. Er is geen vereniging of stichting.
The difference with a direct donation is that I will hold the payment until there is a sensible amount to transfer. – No donation of £1, £2 or £5 where people will mainly donate to the bank or PayPal.
I promise to forward those donations to Safe Haven Egypt through the cheapest way I can find to get that money to SHE itself. Currently that is Wise.com or remitly.com. That is many times cheaper than via Paypal or the regular bank.
It is also possible to support this project through purchases at zooplus.
