Of course you want to give your cat as much freedom as possible. But also safety. The cats of Safe Haven Egypt must be given that safety. That is an absolute condition of adoption.

But that does not necessarily mean that they are not allowed to go outside. That is possible. Conditionally.

One of those options is a catio. A run, a screened area outside. That is no more than a simple cage, very small. To a real, very spacious cat veranda. Some people even build secure walkways that they hang on their facades.

The catio below is made very simply. PVC pipes, garden wire, bungee cords, some wood, some corrugated iron.
