Nameless cat w39-A
He came to Haven about a month ago. This photo is from December 22, 2024 of cat w39-A on the street.
He has not had any eye surgery yet, but that should happen very soon.
Behavior towards other cats is not yet clear due to quarantine. Towards people he is very friendly.
Cat w39-A has received his basic vaccinations and rabies. Also deworming and flea treatment. Reconfirmation (Monday 10/02) that the eye surgery will happen soon ('next week', but such a next week can easily be pushed back a bit).
Castration of w39-A is also still on the agenda.
It is important that he has received his rabies vaccination. He can travel from 3 months after his rabies vaccination. That seems long but it is not. That is good.
w39-A must undergo his surgeries and receive medical aftercare. And in the event of adoption, you must go through the adoption process. That is also a week or 2 or 3. And then it is waiting for a 'light parent'. That waiting period because of the rabies requirement will not really cause delay in practice.
