Snowflake

This is a adopted cat

Our calico cat Snowflake with the emerald green eyes is pure love!

Snowflake was found in the fall of 2022, when she was still a kitten. Koky, the founder of Haven, took her home.

After receiving all her vaccinations, Snowflake was allowed to go to the Haven, where she continues to wait for her own loving family.

Snowflake is now almost 2 years old and has not seen anything other than the shelter. She's the kind of cat who greets you loudly when you come home, who jumps into your lap for cuddles and rubs her cheek against yours.

In short: she is a real cuddly toy!

If you have enough time and space to give Snowflake the attention and cuddles she needs, then you are the right person for her.

She will give you so much love in return!

Like all SHE cats, Snowflake is sterilized, deflead, dewormed, chipped and fully vaccinated. She can fly to Europe, Canada and the United States and of course travels with a negative rabies certificate and all necessary documents.

For SHE, the safety of their rescued cats is their top priority. Therefore, our relocated cats are not allowed to roam freely in unsecured outdoor areas.

Alfie

Our handsome boy Alfie is still looking for his own loving family!

In January 2022, a mother cat was brought to Safe Haven Egypt (SHE) with her newborn kittens. All the kittens survived, including Alfie.

While mother Tiggy and three of her babies have already been adopted, Alfie and his sister Sassafras still need a home. We would like to place them together, but they can also be rehomed separately.

Alfie has grown into a beautiful ginger tomcat and is now 2 years old. He is a bit shy at first, but has the potential to become a real cuddle cat once he has settled into his new family. In the Haven he likes to be petted on the head by his caregivers. When they don't give him enough attention, he starts following them.

Would you like to give Alfie the security of his own home where he will receive the love and attention he needs?

Like all SHE cats, Alfie has been neutered, treated against fleas and worms, microchipped and vaccinated. He can fly to Europe, Canada and the USA and of course travels with a negative rabies certificate and all necessary documents.

SHE is committed to the safety of their rescued cats. Therefore, they should be kept indoors or ideally have access to a safe outdoor area such as a well-secured balcony, cat run or cat garden.

Sassafras

Our cuddly tortoiseshell cat Sassafras is looking for a home again!

Sassafras was admitted to Haven with her mother and four siblings when she was just one day old. Luckily all the babies survived!

The mother cat was named Tiggy by our sponsors and has already been adopted, as have two of her kittens.

In addition to Sassafras, her handsome brother Alfie is still looking for his forever home. We would of course like to place them together, but that is not a must.

Sassafras is now 2 years old and enjoys every cuddle she can get at the Haven. Although she does well there and socializes with the other fluff balls, she is desperate for the attention and love, which only her own family can give her.

Would you grant Sassafras' wish?

Like all SHE cats, Sassafras is sterilized, deflead, dewormed, chipped and vaccinated.

She can fly to Europe, Canada and the US and of course travels with a negative rabies certificate and all necessary documents.

SHE attaches great importance to the safety of its rescued cats. Therefore, they will not be allowed to roam freely in their new home. Of course they would be happy with a well-secured balcony or a cat-proof garden.

Deedee

Deedee on the street in March 2021

Deedee was born around December 2020 and came to us in March 2021 after a video of her acting strangely. This seemed to indicate a neurological problem.

We managed to rescue her from the street and bring her to Haven. She was very scared at first,

Thanks to B12 vitamin injections, her condition improved significantly.

Deedee has been at the Haven for three years and has no known health problems. She does have a tendency to tilt her head a little to the left, but this does not hinder her in her daily life.

When Deedee arrived at our home, she was very shy, but now she allows herself to be touched by Koky, the manager of the Port, and she likes to get close. We expect that after adoption it will not take much effort to get Deedee used to her new owner and to gain trust.

NB; Deedee is not a ready-made cuddle cat.

She gets along well with other cats and dogs and is litter box trained.

Like all Safe Haven Egypt cats, Deedee has received her basic vaccinations against common cat diseases and rabies, has been microchipped and has undergone deworming and anti-flea treatment. She has been sterilized and must be kept as an indoor cat, although she can go outside in a catio or a very well-enclosed garden.

When adopted, Deedee comes with a negative rabies laboratory certificate, a sturdy cat box and all necessary documentation.

We ask a potential adopter read our adoption procedure. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Cat with personality. She is really friendly.

Ruskin

This is a confirmed cat

Ruskin has just been picked up off the street. – March 10, 2023

March 2023. After a typical long tiring day, Koky, the manager of Safe Haven Egypt, was on his way home from Haven. And she encounters a cat that almost ends up under her wheels.

Koky picked up the cat, which was caught without any problems. After reporting about this incident in the SHE Facebook group, the cat was named Ruskin and her first sponsor.

We estimate that Ruskin was born around the end of December 2022, beginning of 2023.

Ruskin is a very friendly girl. She likes to sit with people and follow them. She doesn't like being picked up.

She has been sterilized. Has received her vaccinations against common cat diseases and rabies. Has had deworming treatments and anti-flea treatment. Know how to use the litter box. And also has a microchip.

As you can see, she is now a beautiful adult tortoiseshell cat. And ready to find her own home.

Can you imagine Ruskin lying next to you on the couch? Softly humming as she presses against you? – Take a quick look at the top of this text! – If there is none 'This is a reserved cat' then this can be done effectively.

You have read how Ruskin was literally picked up off the street. That must never happen again. Above all, she must have a safe home. As an indoor cat or a cat with access to a fully enclosed outdoor area.

Know that Ruskin gets along well with other cats. So that's no problem for the longest time!

Can you give Ruskin a place in your home and in your heart?

Then check it out our adoption procedure. And please don't hesitate to contact us for questions. Or if you just know and want to be a candidate to adopt Ruskin.

Isaac

This is a adopted cat

March 4, 2022

This is Isaac. A classic SHE cat.

Early March 2022. Message from Koky, founder of Safe Haven Egypt, in the SHE Facebook group. – Her phone is never silent with requests to rescue cats in need.

This time 3 blind young cats. – Requests for donations to save them. That succeeds. – Isaac also has a sponsor, a name now, and a future.

Isaac, right in Haven. March 2022

Isaac is terrified when he arrives in Haven. But he will soon learn that Haven is a safe place.

He received the necessary medical care in addition to food, safety and love. His eyes where beyond saving.

Isaac received vaccinations against common cat diseases and rabies. Microchip and castration. He uses the litter box. His eyes have been removed and the eye sockets are closed.

Isaac has no known medical problems.

We estimate him to be 3 years old. Isaac is a friendly boy. He tends to meow when he wants food or attention. Isaac is a ground cat. He doesn't want to be picked up and carried around.

Isaac likes to be caressed, also on his stomach. He is good with other cats.

The fact that he is blind should not stop anyone from going for Isaac.

A blind SHE cat like Isaac could quite possibly be the sweetest boy you will ever meet.

Who wants and can give Isaac a home? A safe home. – It seems obvious that Isaac should not be able to wander around freely, but we have to mention it.

Check it out our adoption procedure. And don't hesitate to contact us.

Kris Kringle

This is a adopted cat

This young man has already lost his home twice.

The handsome longhair was first admitted to Safe Haven Egypt (SHE) in November last year after being left at the gate of the Haven. Without a doubt, he was a domestic cat and was cared for before his family decided they didn't want him anymore.

This young man had a lucky accident by being admitted to the Haven. He was sponsored by supporters and given the name Kris Kringle because of the Christmas season. He is neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated.

At the end of December, SHE found a new home for Kris Kringle on site in Cairo. Unfortunately, this time his luck did not last long, because his owner developed an allergy and returned him to the Haven in January of this year.

So Kris Kringle is looking for a new home and a new family again! Hopefully he finds his forever home this time!

He is about 3 years old and gets along well with other cats. Kris Kringle is a cuddly cat. He is friendly, easy going.

He is also a calm cat. Which makes it also suitable for older people.

Who can give Kris Kringle his deserved "furrrever home"?

He can fly to Belgium or the Netherlands. Of course he travels with a negative rabies certificate and all necessary documents.

Under no circumstances should Kris Kringle be allowed to run loose, even in a quiet residential area. We want him to have a long, happy and safe life ahead of him.

He should be kept as an indoor cat, but a catio is fine or going outside in a completely cat-proof garden (with special fencing) would be welcome. Some of our adopters who don't have a cat-safe outdoor space have successfully trained their cats to walk with a cat harness, so that's also an option.

If you are interested in our cats, you can find more information about the procedure here.

Do not hesitate to contact us for questions or an adoption application.
