James

Update: Sunday 2/13 – James has an adoption proposal!

'The box' mentioned

From Safe Haven Egypt. Koky is the manager of SHE

Some of our supporters may know James as one of the tiny babies found in a box in April 2021, no more than a few weeks old. The Haven took in the kittens and thankfully, nursing mother Jasmine took in the kittens as if they were her own.

Today, James is just over a year old and looking for his own forever home. According to Koky, James likes three things: eating, sleeping and playing (when he's awake), and not necessarily in that order!

He is a very nice boy and we expect he would fit in well with most households, including those with other felines, a cat-friendly dog and respectful children.

James (who else?)

James is a sweet cat and we expect him to bond with his adopter.
It's important to remember that the Haven is the one home James never has. Because he has lived within this security, it is imperative that James is kept as an indoor/house cat. If you have a completely cat-proof garden (with the special fencing) or a catio, that would also be wonderful for James.

But under no circumstances should he be allowed to roam freely outside as he has no experience or familiarity with streets, vehicles, etc. He is a smart cat and may also be a candidate for learning to walk on a leash.

James is microchipped, neutered, vaccinated against standard feline diseases and rabies, and when he travels he will do so with his certificate from the laboratory confirming his rabies blood test. All adoption offers are subject to a successful home check and an adoption fee of £195 or local equivalent. (= currently +/- €220.50)
