❗ This is a confirmed cat. This one is no longer available for adoption. ❗
Gerry was found on the street by a kind lady who took him home. Because he was injured on his right front leg she later operated on him.

His right front leg has been amputated. As far as we know, Gerry is otherwise a healthy cat.
Unfortunately, that sweet lady couldn't keep him and she contacted Kareema and so Gerry came to 'the haven' after the operation to recover.
Gerry is still afraid of people, with tasty treats there is still room for improvement. Gerry is very focused on food. He is therefore a shy cat. A 'non-touch cat'.
Gerry is estimated to have been born around June 2023, so around 2 years old.
So he is not yet social with people. With sweets he almost dares to make contact with an outstretched hand.
Gerry is very social with other cats and okay with cat-friendly dogs.
Like all cats he has received his basic vaccinations against common cat diseases and rabies. He has received his flea and worm treatment. He is neutered and litter box trained.
Many people have gone to great lengths and expense to rescue Gerry from the streets and make him available for adoption. We want Gerry to end up in a safe environment.

And that means not being able to walk around freely in the neighborhood. Not even if it is a quiet neighborhood. – Gerry must be a house cat or only come outside in a very safe enclosed outdoor area.
Who can offer Gerry a home? – If you think you can, take a look the adoption procedure. And don't hesitate to contact us.
