Categorical Imperative (Cat Imp)

Categorical Imperative (Cat Imp)

This is an adopted cat

It was November 2024 when Kareema saw a post about a cat on the street that couldn’t walk. The poor cat was completely paralyzed. When Kareema went to rescue him, she learned that he used to live in a building and that people used to feed him there. The neighbors weren’t happy about this and one of the neighbors hit him on the back, making him unable to walk. He was immediately taken to the vet, where x-rays were taken of his spine. Luckily, nothing was broken and he was taken to “the harbor.” With lots of attention and vitamin B injections, his ability to walk improved significantly. Although he still walks a bit wobbly, it doesn’t seem to bother him. When he arrived at “the harbor,” he was given the name Categorical Imperative by his first sponsor.

Categorical Imperative is a very friendly and affectionate male cat. During my visit to 'the harbor' last April he followed me everywhere when I was in the 'young cats/kittens apartment'. He is not afraid to ask for attention and cuddles, but he can also be a very noisy and chatty male cat. Although he is very cuddly, Categorical Imperative does not like to be picked up. Categorical Imperative gets along well with the other cats in 'the harbor', we think he would be fine with a maximum of one or two other cats. He is very sweet and caring towards the kittens in 'the harbor'. He has recently moved to the kitten apartment and is like a father to them. There is no dog in his apartment, so how he gets along with dogs is not yet known.

Categorical Imperative is approximately 3 years old, his date of birth is estimated around May 2022. Like all SHE cats, Categorical Imperative has had all his vaccinations. These are against common cat diseases and rabies. He is also microchipped and has had a deworming and anti-flea treatment. Categorical Imperative has recently been neutered and is house trained. Categorical Imperative will be completely ready to pack his things and move at the end of June.

We attach great importance to the safety of our SHE cats. A SHE adoption cat must be an indoor cat. A well-sealed outdoor area or cat run is of course also nice. Because Categorical Imperative has a wobbly gait, this is extra important for him.

We hope that someone will fall in love with this super affectionate and cuddly tomcat with his beautiful light green eyes, so that he can quickly move to a loving home. If you are interested, please contact one of the managers or me, we will be happy to help you.
