It was March 2022 when Kareema received three separate messages in her inbox from young blind kittens on the streets. One of these three kittens was Timmy. Since blind kittens don't stand a chance of surviving on the streets, Kareema wasted no time and quickly had the kittens rescued from the streets. That's how Timmy came to 'the haven'.
Timmy is a very friendly cat, he will follow you and sit next to you to ask for attention. He just doesn't like to be picked up. Timmy gets along well with other cats and cat-friendly dogs in 'the harbor'.
Timmy is estimated to be around 3.5 years old, his estimated date of birth is around November 2021. Of those 3.5 years, he spent more than three years in 'the harbor'. Through long-term care and frequent anointing of both eyes, they were able to save his right eye, his left eye will still be removed and closed. Like all SHE cats, Timmy has had his vaccinations. This against common cat diseases and rabies. He is also chipped and has had a deworming and anti-flea treatment. Timmy is neutered and also litter box trained. Timmy is completely ready to pack his bags and move.
We attach great importance to the safety of our SHE cats. A SHE adoption cat must be an indoor cat. A very well-sealed outdoor space or cat run is of course also good. Because Timmy has been used to the safety of 'the haven' since he was a kitten and because he is blind in one eye, this is extra important to him, he does not know and does not see the dangers of the street.
