Sunset <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Addition to this profile 30\/05\/2024: Sunset has medical problems. Surgery on the eye to remove it has been postponed because of this. Her liver enzymes are too high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a suspicion that this will be a chronic problem. Sunset currently needs special food and medicine. With the right treatment this can be controlled. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunset is currently adoptable. So Sunset has baggage. We recommend that anyone who adopts Sunset have her thoroughly examined by the local veterinarian. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the current diagnosis remains confirmed, special veterinary diet food will have to be purchased for Sunset. No guarantee can be given about Sunset's life expectancy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But a chronic condition does not necessarily rule out Sunset's ability to live a long life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is 'shy' when she doesn't know you. But is friendly afterwards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maxine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Maxine has been in Haven since she was a kitten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was one month old at the time. She came in with her mom and her brothers and
sisters. That was in August 2021.

Her 3rd birthday is now approaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About 3 months ago I noticed that something was wrong. She seemed to be blind
be what she wasn't before. She was taken to a vet
specialized in eyes. We got confirmation that she was blind. It is
not clear what happened. The pressure may be the pressure in the eyes
became too high for some unknown reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So Maxine has not been blind for long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is friendly, but because she has suddenly become blind, she is still
insecure. She can sometimes scream loudly when touched. There is doubt
whether she can hear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is good with other cats. She is a calm cat who needs love
has.<\/p>\n\n\n
