A life that creates victims. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A paralyzed cat that drags itself along on the street has a higher chance than the average street cat of coming to the attention of Safe Haven Egypt and similar organizations. A hard truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some cats that come into Haven as paralyzed cats make a full or major recovery. Typically these are cats that had a vitamin deficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cats that do not get better or sufficiently better typically have a problem with their rear end. They cannot walk around on their hind legs and drag themselves along with their front legs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are three categories of paralyzed cats:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cat with paralysis that can still support itself and stand on a hind leg and can use a litter box independently<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cat with paralysis who cannot use a regular litter box. But can do the business autonomously &#039;puppy training wipes&#039; or similar solution without edges<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cat with paralysis that needs active assistance to defecate. Usually this is limited to emptying the bladder.
